Kaley has been my closest friend since high school, so when she mentioned she wanted me to capture her maternity session, I started planning right away. It felt so special to be the one documenting such an important chapter in her life, especially knowing how much joy this next season is bringing her.
We shot these maternity photos in Southern California, surrounded by golden light and the quiet calm of San Diego’s fall. Kaley wanted her dog, Scout, to be part of the photos, and it couldn’t have been more fitting. She followed us around the park, happily joining in every moment, it made the session feel that much more personal and full of love.
Now that I’m based in Boston, I photograph couples, families, and maternity sessions throughout the Boston area — including Brookline and other nearby neighborhoods across New England. While the scenery looks a little different here, with cozy fall tones, historic streets, and seaside views, the feeling I aim to capture stays the same: warmth, connection, and genuine emotion.
Whether it’s a maternity session in San Diego or an engagement shoot in Brookline, my goal is always to tell a story that feels true to you.
I’m so grateful I got to capture these memories for Kaley, it’s one of those shoots that reminded me why I love what I do: documenting the beauty of real moments and the people we love most.
